Trevor and Gabrielle’s Wedding
August 10th, 2019
Background of how they met:
They first met in Fargo North, Dakota. Trevor was finishing up his schooling at NDSU, while Gabrielle attended MSUM in Moorhead, MN.
How he proposed:
“We have been engaged since January of 2018. My fiancé, Trevor, after a long busy holiday with our families, lots of traveling suggested a weekend getaway for just the two of us. I usually question him on these decisions because why do when need to spend money when we can just spend a night in together. (Silly me 🙈). We found a cool winery in Dubuque Iowa, (very cool place if you ever wanna visit Iowa.). We had wine and pizza to start the day. Trevor had found a state park that had free snow shoe rentals for a day, neither of us had went snowshoeing before, so what the heck. We went to get our rentals all bundled in our snow gear because it was freezing. We start up the hill, Trevor is sprinting, I am barely keeping up. We get to the top, find a knocked over tree to take a seat and rest. Trevor starts talking about how much he loves me, how well we work as a team, all the love we have for each other. We started to kiss, and he got down on one knee…the rest is history!” – Gabrielle
What I love about them/fav part of their wedding day:
Trevor and Gabrielle’s Wedding was a backyard wedding in Prior Lake, Minnesota. I grew up and went to school in Prior Lake so it was so cool to photograph a wedding in my hometown! The ceremony was held at St. Michael’s Church and it was so beautiful and candid around the two of them. The getting ready and reception locations were held at Gabrielle’s parents’ house and they had the most GORGEOUSLY MASSIVE and DREAMY willow trees! I couldn’t get enough of them!
I knew Gabrielle was going to be a blast the moment she told me she wanted to do a joking surprise first look with the best man dressed in a fake wedding dress!! It was hilarious and everyone enjoyed it!
Trevor and Gabrielle were so FUN and adventurous! They had such great attitudes throughout the whole day, even through a few rainy portraits and some generator fails. I loved Gabrielle’s organization and delegation skills. It was so great to see how everyone was happy to lend a helping hand to make their day special. I hope you both have an amazing marriage and enjoy these photos as much as I do!
