Winter Engagement with Joe and Revae
Now that I’m newly 22, I find my social media being filled with engagements of people I grew up knowing. While some may get tired of it, I find myself getting SO EXCITED for those people in my life because they are moving into their next exciting phase of their lives! Joe and Revae are some of those people and it was an HONOR to have them choose me as their photographer!
Joe and Revae graduated high school with me so I got to watch these high school sweethearts grow from being 16, young and learning about each other, to developing a deep loving relationship together 6 years later! Revae is passionate about purple like me and so I was already exciting knowing their wedding colors will most-likely be purple as well! Joe proposed in November 2018 and since then, I’ve been excited to see them put together the details of their big day!
Lately, we’ve been getting a TON of snow and it has stayed cold enough to keep snow on the trees so it was a perfect time for engagement photos! We started the session at the entrance of Brackett’s Crossing Country Club where there was a line of new pine trees coated with snow. To keep them from falling into the deep snow, at around 12-18 inches deep, I had Joe bring a plank of wood to put on the snow and cover lightly with more snow so it looks like they are able to float on top! Then, we went to Murphy-Hanrehan Park in Prior Lake for the open field look, and the sun began to peak out at the end!
It was so great catching up with them that I took them out for drinks to celebrate a great session! Can’t wait for your beautiful winter wedding!!
