My first wedding of 2021!! After a crazy 2020 year of reschedules, wedding changes, and dealing with so much unknown, it felt SO good to celebrate love again!
Jake and Sarah love the outdoors and spending time with their dog River. They love hiking, fishing, hunting, and time at the cabin, which is where Jake proposed!
How they met:
“We met at UW-Stout in 2012 as sophomores. I had 4 girls I was going to live with for our junior year and the 4th girl backed out last minute. So we were kind of scrambling to find a 4th person. One of my roommates was like “hey there is a transfer student in one of my classes I think HE is looking for a place for next year?!”. My other roommate (Holly she is one of my Matrons) and I were like “Eww a boy?!”. We met him and he was super nice and very smart. He agreed to live with us and took the only room on the main floor. Our junior year we were just friends, then between our Junior and Senior year he texted in July me asking where my parents cabin was because he was up at his parents cabin. Then we kept texting every day and by the time we went back to school in September I was like oh crap I like my roommate! Thankfully he had the same feelings and we have been dating “officially” since October 9th 2014.” – Sarah (bride)
Jake and Sarah planned their wedding in 6 months with complete confidence they will have a great day no matter the restrictions. This is the energy and happiness I was SO excited to capture and I was so excited to make it happen!
