Brett and Krissy braved a chilling fall engagement session in Hudson, Wisconsin. But despite the cold and wind, we still had a lot of fun! We still caught a lot of the fall colors and it made for a beautiful session.
About the Couple
Brett and Krissy knew of each other through mutual friends and went to neighboring high schools. They ended up attending the same college together and re-connected on Hinge after graduation! One of their favorite dates was a spontaneous trip to Chicago a few months into dating. They took a train to get there and went on a boat tour in the city and had so much fun.
Krissy loves how incredibly selfless Brett is. He always makes sure everyone is having a good time and is very caring. Brett equally loves how much Krissy cares for the people in her life. She’s always making people laugh and is so passionate about her career. The couple balances each other out in so many different ways.
When they have free time, Brett and Krissy love to golf (mainly Brett, Krissy says, but she tries!). They have a golden doodle named Finley, who you’ll see joined the session, and they love him so much! I don’t blame them, look how cute he is! They love spending time at the cabin and on the boat and both have a huge travel bug! Their perfect Saturday together looks like this: a morning walk with Finley, farmer’s market run and coffee stop, come home for some lunch, a cabin boat ride in the afternoon and finish it off with a bonfire and smores. An absolutely perfect day!
Krissy said Brett proposed on the coldest day of the year (literally). He asked her to marry him on the same walking trail he asked her to be his girlfriend, so it was extra meaningful. He even got Krissy’s family involved to surprise her!
Fall Engagement Session in Hudson Wisconsin
These lovebirds fall engagement session was so much fun! It was a pretty cold and windy day near Lakefront Park in Hudson, but they braved the cold like champs. I’m so in love with the photos of Finley! I have an aussiedoodle myself, so doodles have a special place in my heart. I loved their neutral outfit choices that were perfect for the fall weather and helped make the tree colors pop. Make sure to check out the stunning red tree we found! They even did a mini cake cutting similar to the one they’ll do on their big day. I can’t wait for their fall wedding this year at the Aisling at Troy Burne!
