Woodhaven Wedding Venue and Events MN Photography

I’ve always loved a fall wedding at Woodhaven Wedding and Events MN. Join me in congratulating the new Mr. and Mrs. Holey! Parker and Megan had a chilly day for their fall wedding at Woodhaven Weddings and Events. But that didn’t stop them from celebrating the best day of their lives! They had the best vendor lineup and it was a blast to be a part of.

How They Met

These two lovebirds met at Winona State their freshman year and when they were assigned to the same group project, they were able to exchange contact information. Parker transferred to another school the following year, but they kept in contact over the next seven years, and one day Parker suggested they meet up in person to catch up. That lunch turned into dinners and “date-like” activities until Parker asked Megan to make things official over a Culver’s concrete mixer! The couple had many more Culver’s date nights to follow and decided to have them cater dessert on their wedding night! How cute is that?!

So how did Parker end up proposing, you may ask? The couple had access to different lakes and one summer made night cruises a regular thing. On the last cruise of the summer, their families had suggested they join and Parker got down on one knee during the song “Big, Big Plans” by Chris Lane and proposed to Megan!! Of course, she said yes!

Parker & Megan’s Wedding Day

Parker and Megan’s big day was so much fun and it was evident how much their family and friends meant to them. They had the best crew by their side to love and celebrate them becoming one! They had a lot of intentional details that made their day even more special. Not only did they incorporate Culver’s into their day, but they also had a fun “how well do you know the couple” crossword puzzle, game station, and snack bar filled with some of their favorite munchies.

One of my favorite details was the bow on the back of Megan’s dress. It was originally from her mom’s wedding dress and I love how she wanted that sweet detail to be a part of the big day! This lovely fall wedding at Woodhaven Wedding and Events MN was a joy to be a part of and I couldn’t be happier for the Holey’s!
