Philip and Lizzy grew up in the same Catholic Church community. I first met them during their engagement session and I instantly knew that they were fun and kind-hearted people I’d have a blast working with. Philip and Lizzy began 2020 sharing their love story with 475+ of their family and friends. After meeting those closest to them, I could see where they learned how to love with such compassion and spread contagious joy. Warm spirits filled the bright, open church. I have never witnessed such true compassion and bliss for two people saying “I do”. Despite the cold, Philip and Lizzy persevered through their photos with patience, a positive attitude, and encouraged plenty of time for photos. I’m so thankful they put so much trust in me. Their bridal party was so helpful and positive about capturing the photos that Philip and Lizzy wanted.
The getting ready space was at their family-friend’s salon, packed with space and light. Lizzy was organized and prepared with her details for me to photograph right away. The ceremony was at St. Michaels Catholic Church in St. Michael, Minnesota. The ceremony was filled with natural light, tall ceilings, and white walls. The reception was at Earle Brown Heritage Center in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. It had the perfect mix of elegant and rustic vibes.
When their wedding day had come to an end, I was truly amazed when reflecting back on my time with them. The type of atmosphere the couple created will forever be unforgettable.
