Snowy November Wedding at Woodhaven in Cannon Falls

Riley and Rachel Schue are married! These lovebirds were married on a snowy day in November at Woodhaven in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. It was the sweetest day and I couldn’t be happier for this amazing couple!

Riley and Rachel knew of eachother for quite some time. They went to the same school and whenever they happened to be in the same place, they would chat sometimes. But it wasn’t until one of Riley’s friends gave him Rachel’s Snapchat that they really started talking. Rachel says the rest is history!

Rachel said the proposal was one of the best days and she was really surprised! Long story short, she ended up winning a mini session at a silent auction they had attended. Leading up to the day, Riley kept saying he wasn’t going to be able to do it, because it was right in the middle of harvest (Riley’s a crop farmer). But finally, Riley agreed to do it. At one point during the session, the couple was back to back and the photographer told Rachel to turn around and then she knew Riley was proposing! Turns out Riley and his mom had this planned out all along! How sneaky!

It’s so evident that these two love eachother! Rachel loves how compassionate Riley is and that he supports her so well through the good times and the bad. She loves how hard working he is and that he’ll never give up until his best work is done. Riley loves Rachel’s personality and how easy it is for her to get along with others. He loves how strong she is and that she’ll always stand up for what she believes in. Riley also says she’s able to put up with him everyday which isn’t always easy!

The day was perfect! The morning of was so much fun and Rachel was a beautiful bride! From her lace-detailed getting robe to her stunning dress and lovely vail, she was a vision in white! The first looks were some of the most emotional parts of the day. It was clear how much family meant to this couple and I couldn’t help tearing up during the father daughter first look!

The setup for the day was beautiful and so easy to photograph. Woodhaven is fairly new, but it’s simple white exterior and interior makes it one of my favorite venues! I loved the details and thought that went into this special day. Everything tied together well and it couldn’t have been better. The snowy day made everything feel so magical! Thank you Riley and Rachel for letting me a part of your big day! Congratulations to the happy couple!!
