I had an absolute blast during Jake and Lindsey’s engagement session at Loews Portofino Bay in Orlando, Florida! It was beautiful and I can’t wait for you to view the session!
How They Met
Jake and Lindsey’s first date was at Caribou, followed by Applebees and Lindsey even got to meet some of Jake’s family. She says the rest is history! Lindsey loves that Jake makes her feel safe and comfortable all the time. He always thinks about the little things and supports her in everything she does. Jake loves that Lindsey loves him for being him. He loves being on a team with her and the ways she has helped him grow.
The couple has a wide variety of hobbies. Jake’s favorite hobby is golf, in fact, he even moved to Florida to pursue a career in golf. He currently works at the PGA Tour Superstore. Lindsey is a literacy coach at an elementary school and in her free time, she loves to cook/bake and could shop all day long! On their days off, the couple loves grabbing breakfast and heading out to Cocoa Beach for the day. They take lunch and drinks to go and usually grab some dinner on their way back. It sounds so relaxing!
The Engagement Session at Loews Portofino Bay
Jake and Lindsey’s Orlando, Florida engagement session was a dream. It was such a fun change of scenery and the area meant a lot to the couple so it made it extra special. If you and your significant other live in another state from your wedding venue, I always recommend flying me out for engagement sessions versus having the two of you fly to me. It’s more inexpensive to do it this way, plus you get more variety in your photos!
Their engagement session at Loews Portofino Bay was gorgeous and felt like we transported to Italy. We chose to do a sunrise session to avoid the crowds. The morning started off with some cloud coverage but turned into a beautiful sunny morning. They had suggested the location and I’m so glad they did! The area was Italian-inspired and had Italian restaurants lining the streets with live music. How romantic!
A lot of people come to this area to catch a ferry along the water to get to Universal Studios. We explored inside the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and it was so unique and magical. The staff were so kind and helpful in navigating us around to interesting spots throughout the hotel. After the session, we had breakfast together and chatted about their wedding. I can’t wait for their summer day at the Hutton House this year!
