This charming, rustic wedding took place at the Landscape Arboretum-Sensory Garden for the ceremony and the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis for the reception. The Bride loves doing DIY’s and both spaces were beautifully decorated for the couple’s special day. The garden was also such a beautiful space for photos and I loved getting to take advantage of the sunbeams pouring through the trees. The day was full of love, including a touching dance between the Bride and her brother in honor of their late father. I am so happy for this couple and wish them a lifetime of love!

How they met:
Bride: “We met in AZ. I’m a pastry chef and Jake was a bakery owner that my company did business with so we kinda sorta met at work in a way. We’ve been living in MN since summer 2019 and can’t wait to start our married life here.”
How he proposed:
Bride: “Jake and I got engaged on Valentine’s Day! He did a memory scavenger hunt around our house and had the ring on the final clue! (a dough hook for the kitchen aid mixer – since we met at a bakery)”
What they love about each other:
Bride: “I love that our sense of humor is so similar and that we can always make each other laugh.”
