Couples Summer Engagement Session | Kayla + Steven

Kayla and Steven’s summer engagement session was such a special one photographed by LWP associate, Malorie. Malorie raved about how these two are the kindest and most fun humans ever! There was endless laughter and big smiles throughout the entirety of their session. The love that they have for each other is so evident and pure. I knew Malorie would take great care of them. I’m so grateful for this job that I have and for these two for trusting my team with this session and their wedding later this year!🥰

I also wanted to share a little bit about their story as they have SUCH a sweet love story! Their first date was at Brick and Bourbon for dinner, followed up by Dave and Buster’s where they bonded over how competitive they both are. After a while of dating, they decided to take a trip to Seattle where Steven wound up proposing! They were in town for an Eric Church concert and he proposed on the deck of their VRBO overlooking the water. Sounds picture perfect, doesn’t it?!

It really feels like they are made for each other in so many ways. They both love the outdoors as well! Steven likes to do anything active, he is in a few men’s leagues such as hockey, volleyball and darts. Kayla enjoys hiking, being out on the lake, and more. Overall, they are both just such special people. Couldn’t be more grateful for me and my team to have the opportunity to capture their love story!🥺
